KERSIE-LIMONADE
KERSIE LIMONADE
400 g kersies, ontpit en fyngekap
60 ml heuning
1 vanieljepeul of 5 ml vanieljegeursel
100 ml water
sap en skil van 2 suurlemoene
1 liter gekoopte limonade
hand vol vars kruisement
hand vol vars kersies
METODE;
Plaas kersies, heuning en vanieljesaadjies of geursel in middelslag-pot.
Voeg water, sap en skil van suurlemoene by en bring tot kookpunt.
Verlaag hitte en laat stadig prut vir 5 – 8 minute of tot kersies pap is.
Laat afkoel en puree in voedselverwerker tot glad.
Gooi puree deur sif om van skille ontslae te raak.
Laat afkoel tot yskoud.
Meng kersiepuree met limonade.
Sit voor op ys met vars kruisement en heel kersies.
Dis baie lekker en verfrissend.

Two handfuls of frozen mixed berries
4 spoonful’s of vanilla yogurt
½ Lemon
INSTRUCTIONS:
Cut up the banana and throw into the mixer. Add in orange juice together until smooth.
Add in the berries and yogurt.
Squeeze in the lemon to give the drink some zesty flavour.
If you are into your healthy, you can sprinkle in some flaxseed too!
Ready to serve. You can garnish with a few fresh berries for looks if you like.

Here are 8 home made vitamin water recipes to help you keep the water flowing!
As a rule, you should try to avoid as much as possible
industrial food and beverages
1) The classical : lemon/cucumber:
Mix in a pitcher: 10 cups of water + 1 cucumber and a lemon, thinly sliced + 1/4 cup
fresh finely chopped basil leaf + 1/3 of finely chopped fresh mint leaves.
Leave in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
2) The granite :
Strawberry/Lime or Raspberry/Lime
Mix in a pitcher : 10 cups of water + 6 strawberries / 0r Raspberries and one thinly sliced lime + 12 finely chopped fresh mint leaves.
Leave in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
3) The digestive : Fennel/citrus
First: infuse 1 to 3 grams of dried and
crushed fennel in 150 ml of boiling water for 5-10 minutes.
Allow to cool.
Mix in a pitcher: 10 cups of water + lemon juice (put the leftover lemon in the
mix) + a small thinly sliced orange + 12 fresh chopped mint leaves + the
infusion of fennel seeds.
Leave in refrigerator overnight before serving.

2. Step 2
Repeat with the remaining strawberries, banana, milk and yoghurt. Serve immediately
